[[Power and emotions are not enough...]]
Sometimes, you want to do something, but you just lack the power to accomplise it..
This is what's happening now.. I sit down and stare at the tutorials, but I do not know how to do it.. I envy the guys in Seed Destiny.. in this fantasy world of theirs.. they desire to set things right... and they are bestowed with the power to do just that...
I feel powerless... as with some of the things that have happened before.. It's maddening to see things happen.. You know it's wrong... yet you are helpless....
it's ok to fail.. as long as you have done ur best... but it is also sad that people dont see your effort... life is indeed fastpaced... but it's no excuse for being blind.. we must learn not to miss out on the small things in life...
it's not that I don't want to be GL... also don't understand why everyone thinks i should be GL... I feel that all our past experiences make us the man we are today.. In my case, I don't like to be right in the front leading.. because I can never be sure that people will be there to back me up... But I like to be standing behind others, because I know that I will always stand up to anything that I feel is wrong. Of course that will have to depend on whether or not I know what to do about it...
In the past, army, Leong, When I needed help, I was left to die.... no one stepped forward when they saw something was wrong... that's why I can never bring myself to ignore anything that needs to be done... It's just not me.... It's not about being heroic or righteous... it's just that I knows how it feels to need help.. Its fucking fucked up to stand by and watch.. You will savour your just desserts...
I envy Kira... I want to be like him.. He's a hero...

damn.. non productive night again... assessments coming soon... actually i did most of the tutorials already.. its the Econs that's becoming the thorn in my ass... hven done the tutorials up till now.... hiding isnt the solution... need to find the catalyst....
went for hall games floorball just now... now my legs are aching... to long never exercise sia... haha...
when i came back... tried to do a little tutorials.. read a little on computing.. then winne asked for an egg to go with her noodles and asked i wanted to eat too... so we went to cook supper together... i attempted to do that jap style noodle.. the dry kind with sweet sauce, then got an egg on top... failed.. first time trying.. haha.. hers was too soggy cos she insisted that i do not drain off too much water, mine was better, but there wasn't enough egg nor sauce, so it's a failure too.. munched on our noodles and chatted about some nonsense here and there... argued about the way dey instant noodles should be cooked etc.. who pours the seasoning into the boiling water sia.. haizz.. haha..
after the block meeting, i ate some corn flakes.... to my horror, jiajing returned nasi lemak!!!!!!!!!!
die liao.. 3 suppers in one night....
deynse and hweiyun asked me to cook for them too.. wat sia.. now i become campus cook too...?? why JCRC dont hv such an appointment..
think theres hall supper tomorrow night too... and tennis... may be skipping the supper.. hmmm.. what the hell....
i wanna learn to cook more things!!
last but definitely not the least.. I wanna learn drifting... dont need instructor la... juzz give me a FR car.. better still... get me a MR2....

Met Amanda to head down to Bugis just now. She was going to ogle at some taiwanese hunk, while I had intended to get some singlets, so she asked if I wanted to go along... Linked up with her friends there, all of whom were crazy about the guy.. In the end, I was an asset to them, due to my height.. I was able to get a clear shot of the guy with thier camera.. it's crazy seeing all the gers crazy over their idol.. but it was quite fun haha..
after that, Amanda and I split off from the group to go shopping for my singlets... Couldn't find them, even after trekkking the whole of Bugis Village.. but managed to find a shop with hell lots of racing decals..Will be heading there again with ADA to get decals for our laptops.. But why don't they selll any carbonfibre stickers?? it's so hard to fine!!!! haizz.. want to use it as base layer over my laptop...
After which we headed back to hall, bloody tired... Thanx for your company!

Shit overslept again today... at my maths Tut is done last night.. then phy, i think I should have done enough.. Left computing, chem and econs which I know nuts about...
Was going throught the fridge last night at 2 plus.. saw a bag of curry puff.. I think that's the one that my Ma asked me to eat earlier in the night.. If I hadn't seen it, I would have forgotten about it.. Last week, the same thing happened.. Ah ma told me there's goreng pisang... being the guy that I was, zipping around and stuff.. I forgotten about it till I left the house... This won't do... Have to open my eyes... I can't afford to miss out these kind of details in life anymore... Life's short.. Er shu's wife gave birth this week... Supposed to go SP's Bday in campus tomorrow, but I'll be goiing much later.. cos Ma says we are going to visit them... Family's important... AH gong's old already.. I know he wants to see me too.. I am changing my Fri lecture to Thurs, so that I can be home earlier on Fri... Some things are worth you making an effort for.. So big already, must know how to think..
Still not studying enough... hmm.. work harder Sgt!!
been eating supper in campus.. but not tah bao one.. i cooked haha... so far, Winnie and Siying are the first lucky pair to have tried my cooking... actually they made their own sandwitch.. next up, Small Wei, and Khung Xing who has been reminding me every other day to cook supper and deliver to her... what sia... fat hope huh.. haha

My virgin Laptop is finally here!! From HP... the design is quite good.. but it serves better as an entertainment laptop PC than a gaming PC.. NFSU2 sucked in the graphics department.. However where media playback is concerned.. this thing is awesome... I can play back videos, audio, view photos without booting up the computer... the interface was somewhat like a Mac's Frontrow.. the laptop even came with a standalone remote for entertainment media playback... 16:9 screen ration.. webcam... altec Lansing speakers.. thought there isn't bass, but the clarity and loudness of audio plyayback is the best i have seen among laptops so far... ok la... considering it's only $1500 odd.. I'm so disappointed... it can't game... a dedicated graphics card would be much appreciated!
I have not really tested out my HP nor installed everything that I wanted.. there seemed so much to test out... on the contary, i spent half the week helping my friends try out theirs.. set up the LAN connections etc... i'm like some IT technician parttime now... haha...
didn't study during the weeknights this week.. i have to work harder on my management...
Went for some Emcee club interview yesterday, out of fun's sake... i did well for the self-intro which, ironically, I didn't prepare for.. On the contary, I sucked at the passage reading and senario play.. But after I did everything.. they asked if I wanted to try mandrian and said there may be a 2nd audition.. FOoo!! haha.. my years of crapping has improved my linguistic skills... but nah...wasn't too interested in it.. just went for fun.. haha..
seems the Mambo guys want me to be GL next year too..after my stint at Tiong Lee's Bday.. haahaa..

hmm.. rushed alittle tutorials in the morning...i forgot how to do them.. all the knowledge forgot liao.... still left maths and chem undone..... wanted to go swimming but no time... wanted to tan, but no sun.... this weekend was too short, due to my mismanagement.. will sort this out..
Tough time don't last, tough men do... I keep telling myself this these days.. Don't know why... Sort of more motivated during these tough times in Uni... Guess the army has brought me up well..
went to IntDo's Bday this afternoon... he damn jialat sia... since Union camp, he has kena from me dunno how many times sia.. We had games just for him too just now.. haha..like wat sia.. Then as we were leaving, his Ma asked me how i know him and stuff... paisay man, so funny.. then his parents thanked me as I was leaving... it's been long since I last felt that I made a difference.. Like when I was still serving, in my Branch.. When I joined my 3DIV Swim Team, my understudy just came in.. At that time I was torn between passion and duty... Nevertheless, my decision was to go for swimming, but at the same time, I typed out a detailed job scope for him.. I prep my branch.. even though I wasn't really that good.. I was there for them, yet in the end, I was quite dispensible...
IntDo's Bday is slightly different.. I knew I had to be there to help out... cos I sort of sabo him and he had alot of people in his house.. I wasn't about to leave him to fend for himself alone.. Not after what I learnt from the army...
Don't know why leh... Sgt is one funny creature... He doesn't mind stepping forward when he sees that things are needed to be done.. Especially when he sees things he knows, he will go all the way... He's inspired by Kira(Gundam SEED)...
I wonder come the Bday...would he do something about it... Judging by his character....yes.. He would plan something out.... but Sgt hesitates... What does he really want? Is this who he wants? He has no answer for himself.. For now, he just does what he thinks is needed to be done...

Just saw the part of the parade segment of the NDP on TV... it felt nostalgic watching the contingents march past... Was at cold storage earlier... I saw a recruit with his gf doing some last min grocery shopping... I don't know why.. I miss the army...
It's sad.. I don't know why people have so little regard for our country... worst still, mockery for our army... ignorant fuckers... Right now as we are celebrating peace and prosperity, people are fighting and dying in the middle east... Somehow I wish that Singapore will go to war.. then every other blind/deaf Singaporean will wake up.. Everything is taken for granted... one day... you will all live to regret it... Back then when the 3 Tekong robbers beached on Tekong.. everyone I know laughed about the matter... Fuck... I wished a soldier was killed in action back then, so that everyone will wake up... Now that I'm in NTU, I can see why people turn blind, or choose to turn a blind eye these days.. it's just too fast paced.. Nevertheless, it's a baseless excuse..
I'm not crazy... We are just too self centred... I hope singaporeans will wake up and appreciate what the have... And fucking respect soldiers..
Went out for supper with Alex n Jinjin last night... Alex said he definitely wants to be a Guards Spec... not an officer... Due to some fucked up officers in his company who brought a bad name to commissioned commanders... I guess I also affected his decision in one way or another.. I was a specialist myself, and a combat Intelligence Specialist at that... I had always spoken with pride the Specialist had in themselves.. For those who argue that Specs are 2nd rated commanders inferior to officers, I say balls to you... Come with me outfield, and I'll show you what it takes to be a first class commander... I may not be one, but I take pride in what do..that's good enough.. All 3 of us.. Jinjin, alex and us.. love the military in our own special way...
Jinjin was born military-crazed, I saw the need and purpose in our army, Alex probably love the brotherhood and commaradie..
Jinjin has signed on... Alex is pending his confirmation... I'm happy for Alex... in the past, he used to be playful and stuff... the army will toughen him up...
